I am a child of the 90's working in the oil and gas industry, normally hiding out in the concrete metropolis of downtown on weekdays. On weekends I am a casual trail runner at large, roaming the nearby Rockies while doling out bourbon from my flask and sharing snacks with friends, or attempting to pretend I know how to nordic ski in the winters I do my best to run single-track in the flatlands of SE Texas, or attempt to pretend I know how to roller ski. On occasion I will take a "long weekend" somewhere far far away.
This blog will be centered around the latter and my adventures outside my office, when I'm free from the expectations and inhibitions of my day job.
